life isn't fair..... or forever

Recently some very sobering things have happened... My pastor's (in canada) younger brother died last week.... they don't know why... he just died... he was like 39... wife, kids..... gone... and another girl died, too... I was never very close to her.. but i knew her, and talked to her sometimes.. Her name was Paulanne Hoskins... she was 23 ... young, beautiful, loved God more than anything... talented... sweet... gone... her two younger brothers were in my sister's class.... my mom said she had cancer.. hardly anyone even knew she was sick.... my sister is going to the funeral.. i think its today or tomorrow or something... Its hard to imagine her dead... cold... but she's somewhere better now... :) .... she will never be in pain again... never cry... never hurt... never be dissapointed... still, tho.... its hard... Pray for thier families, would you guys? the Hoskins and the Burtons....And I want you all to know that i really love you and appreciate your friendships more than i can say....

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

sooooo... this year was pretty much THE BEST EVER!!! (besides my big sis being gone :'( ...) okay I think i shall have to list some of the amazing things I got:

- some really pretty little angl ornamentsfrom my Nannie Radford and my parents (in my family we have themed ornaments for each person, I always get angels, Megan always get bears, Jesse and Beth always get precious moments)

- like.... FOUR sketchbooks!!!

- a supercool porfolio-folder thing

- two canvasses and some really nice brushes from my Nannie Radford (gotta start painting!!)

- this really pretty dark red shirt from American Eagle

- A very nice suede orangy coloured journal (from my Nannie Radford)

- some nice lipgloss that smells like orange sherbet

-a GORGEOUS pink American Eagle sweatshirt with beautiful embroidery on it (from my big Sis <3 )

- PRISMACOLOR PENCIL CRAYONS!!!!! AHHHH!!!!!!!!

soooo yeah... PRETTY MUCH THE COOLEST EVER!!!

oh! for Jesse and Beth (my little bro and sis) I made Tshirts! Okay, well I bought white tshirts and glow in the dark fabric paint (almost two dollars each! ugh hahah) and drew designs on seperate pieces of paper, then traced the designs onto the shirts, the did the paint thing! it took FOREVER! but they love them, so it was totally worth it!! on Jesse's I drew him on a surboard riding this awesome wave, with the sin and a couple clods in the sky and a dolphin jumping in the water. On Beth's I drew her running on a hill (the grass was torturous but came out really nice I think) chasing a butterfly and holding a flower, there is a little bee, some more butterflies, som more flowers, pretty swirly clouds, the sun, some birds, you get the picture... yepp... and i did both of them Chrismas eve, stayed up til almsot one oclock finishing them, then in the morning they were dry so i put them in giftbags.... yepp.... soooooo I had an awesome Christmas... even tho I am still missing my big Sis... I love you, Sissy <3

Hello everyone.... or the two people that actually read my blog......anywhoooooo I have pretty much a sad life.... I am so scared about going to university..... I think i will study either animation or illustration (as in books)... yep... I'm still not sure..... oh, if you wanna look at some of my art, lookie here http://emma-jen.deviantart.com/gallery/ tis my little gallery... not a whole lot of stuff there, not recent stuff anyway.... i havent had much time, and that site is quite time-comsuming ugh..... but its fun..... but, may I warn you, as on any art site, there is quite a lot of questionable stuff. Dont get me wrong there is loads of awesome artwork, but yah.... sooo...... the Creeches ditched us and went to Canada for christmas.... but they are bringing some stuff back for us so its ok...... anywhooo..........not much else to say... Oh! this guy in my class named TJ got a haircut! and his hair was LONG and poofy! haha it looks really awesome now.... really short... and he had it all gelled today :) haha yah... oh and my other friend, Chera Lynn (Chera) cut it :) she is an artist too.... yepp...... i am doing an uber cool fashion design project for art.... its fun..... *sigh* ...... welllll oh yeah haha we (seniors, grade 12s, whatever you wanna call us) are hosting a movie night at school tomorrow! I'm excited :) It will be a lot of hard work, but fun :) .... Christmas is coming!!! YAYYYYY!! haha bye for now. I love you all!

hey people...... *sigh*... oh! good news... my scanner is working again.... dunno what happened... oh well..... life is pretty sad today..... i dont know what i am gonna do..... my little brother, jesse.... *sigh*..... he ttally doesnt care what i say to him at all... he doesnt obey me, he talks back, he mocks me, he hits me, he scratches me..... the list goes on.... probly some of it is that mom is gone.... but this has been going on for years...... *sigh*..... i dont know what to do.... he probably hates me.... today i told him that if he loved me he would want to obey me... he screamed something at me and ran off.... *tear* *brushes it away roughly* i hate it... i know that for a few years i treated him wrong.. like an annoying little brother... but now, just as i change and i cant even yell at him anymore, he decides to start hating me.... before he loved me so much and i shoved him away.... i guess i waited to long to change.... *sigh*... would you pray for me, guys?.... I dont know what I am gonna do..... *heavy sigh*..... this is my last year with him.... i will probably never live with him again after this year..... ever..... and its being wasted in screaming and violence... and... perhaps hatred?... *tear* ....... *sniff*.... yeah, well.. sorry, not areal entry, well if I leave this open a while and at random intervals while Im surfing the web come and add comments, pehas it will become a real entry..... anywho, here is what i have for now:

oh, that girl, Kristen Chenoweth (who sings "Taylor, the Latte Boy", awesome song hehe) is a CHRISTIAN!!! Check out her website and her new cd. looks pretty sweet... :) I am happie..... anywho.... hmmm oh I like art! Art is fun..... www.emma-jen.deviantart.com ... yeppers.... um.... my scanner is dead! *SOBS* how now will I scan my artwork to that site and to my family in canada?? *tear* i suppose when I have like a few things I can go to someone's house (someone who has a scanner) and scan them... *sniff*... its so sad.... *sigh*..... oh well... ugh I have a history test tomorrow... ugh and Bible quiz thing too... ughh....... *sigh*.... oh well... maybe I will wear my Garfield shirt on monday. It reads "I Need Less Week and More Weekend" with "saturday" and "sunday" repeated randomly over the shirt, and Garfield of course in the middle, lounging.... anywhoo.... bye for now!

hahahahah yeah I know I'm wierd!! haha but i have a super-easy schedule, and I love it!!! I have Art, art, spare (study hall), choir, english, (lunch), Bible, french 4, history!!! yeppersss.... haha i love my morning! so great!!! =D ^.^ ..... I got 2 more SCC (steven curtis chapman) cds!!! I LOVE THEM!!! haha I got my fave cd again! (3rd time!! arg... i lost it twice!!!! once i lent it out, 2nd time i left it in saly) argg anywhooooo i love em soo awesome hhahaha "heaven in the real world" is so great!! hahah his hair is sooooo AWESOME!!! BAHAHAH!! :P hehe..... wellll..... art is awesome and im so happy i got into chamber choir (audition) and...... french is good, history isnt too boring, english is good, Bible is cool (biblical ethics) ... ummmm yeah....I love you all "most ardently", but I must go!!! =D

k thats all for now.... ughhhh I have this art project for thi summer art class with Darren and Annieo... its killing me! I chose to do a tiger, holding its baby in its mouth! so hard... oh, in POINTALISM! in case you ppl didnt know that is like million and gazillions of tiny little DOTS! with a black pen... so its all one colour, so I have to make it light or dark by using the dots.... *wipes sweat from brow*.... no easy task, let me tell you! anywho.... I hould probably go back to work on it... *sulks*.... ttyl people

soooooo I spent 4 days in Saly (with the Creeches) from Monday to Thursday, soaking up rays (wayyy too many, my face is infested with freckles!!! AHHH!! hehehehe), swimming ( I think I have water in my ears, cuz I have been dizzy. Mom said that's what it is anyways), playing in the rain (this includes spinning, catching rain on our tongues as you would with snow, pretending to row canoes down a little "stream", jumping in the pool fully clothed, and generally running about in the rain like hooligans. Much fun. :P), reading ( I finished a Lori Wick book I had been reading and started Phantom of the Opera- the original novel! :P hehe awesomeness! It's really good, but soooo different from the movie! Craziness.....), listening to music (Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp, Plumb [really cool singer], Barlowgirl, and many others I don't really remember. I also started this awesome movie called "Hero-the Rock Opera" with Darren, but we haven't finished it yet. It is sooo awesome! It is a bunch of contemporary Christian singers acting out a contemporary version of the story of Jesus. It's awesome. Yep...... uhhhhh oh the power went off several times out there arggg but it has actually been pretty good since getting back to Dakar. Pretty good... but not great.. argg... last night the power went off in the middle of the night, and after tossing and turning for like an hour, I left the torture chamber of my room and trooped down the hall, falling over Maple (my dog) with my pillow and collapsed onto the fouton in my parents room, then I slept 'till 11 and had brunch... then it was soo late that we had lunch/supper at like 4:30 haha awesomeness.. yeppperss.... I'm not sleeping im my bed tonight either. I'm slepping with my mom in mom and dad's bed and da is sleeping on the fouton with Micah (my baby adopted Senegalese cousin, who stays with us every saturday). yep....... well... it seems I have run out of things to say... Oh! I just thought of a couple more. :) hehe. Ok well Darren lent me one of his cds, and two of his dvds, the cd is Jeremy Camp-Live Unplugged (with a dvd of the whole concert, pretty awesome!), the two dvds are Jeremy Camp-In 24 (a run-through of a day in the life of Jeremy Camp, soooo hilarious! he is crazy!!) and Nichole Nordeman a dvd with two of her music videos on it, really awesome. She is so cute! hehe there is a picture of her and her husband on one of the videos and on the commentary she is like "my cute husband [I forget his name.. was it Tim?] and I... He is so cute...." hehehe so funny :P yep... well, now I really have run out of things to say... well, i'm sure I could think of more, but I'd better not waste any more of your time haha.. :P toodles everyone!
